Addressing Migration and Conflicts in Water-Energy-Food Systems

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for your interest in the webinar series on “BUILDING NEXUS RESILIENCE: Addressing Migration and Conflicts in Water-Energy-Food (WEF) Systems”.

Webinar 2 focused on “Integrating Migration Models and WEF Nexus Assessments”. It explored various methods and tools for WEF nexus assessments alongside different approaches to modeling migration trends and dynamics. The discussion focused on the compatibility of these approaches to enhance integrated assessments, as well as the identification of key research gaps and opportunities in this space. We were excited to have 100+ participants representing 64 countries at the event!

We are pleased to share the attached Communication Brief 2 featuring highlights and key takeaways from the presentations and discussions. The attached brief also includes links to the webinar recording and slides.

Please mark your calendars for our third webinar on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, which will focus on “Governance Considerations and Evidence-based Policy Making”. More details will be shared soon on our webinar webpage.

Thank you once again for your interest. We look forward to your participation in our future events.
