Multifunctional materials for energy applications
Research Summary
Dimitris C. Lagoudas received his Ph.D. from Lehigh University in 1986. He currently serves as the Senior Associate Dean for Research at Texas A&M University. His research involves the design, characterization, and constitutive modeling of multifunctional material systems and he has co-authored nearly 400 publications. His SMA modeling and analysis approach has been utilized by industrial, governmental, and academic entities worldwide.
