My current lines of research include international petroleum transactions, arbitration in the hydrocarbons sector, the intersection of the energy sector and human rights, U.S.-Mexico energy relations, international maritime delimitation and the development of transboundary resources, national security and the energy sector, and international adjudication of energy disputes.
