Texas A&M Students Win Best Paper Awards at IEEE Sustainable Power & Energy Conference in China

At the IEEE Sustainable Power & Energy Conference (iSPEC), held in in Beijing, China, on November 21-23, 2019, current and former students supervised by Dr. Le Xie, a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, won best paper awards. The theme of the meeting was “Grid Modernization for Energy Revolution.”

  • Chao Yan, Xinbo Geng, Le Xie, and Zhaohong Bie: “A Scenario-based Storage Planning Framework with Probabilistic Guarantees”
  • Chenyang Huang, Zheng Yan, Jingyang Yun, Le Xie, and Yuanyuan Li: “Enhanced Real-time Electricity Price Prediction with a Novel Feature Selection Technique”
