Abstract

The implementation of Solar PV on Tribal lands is challenging but has immense potential. This talk will discuss the hurdles that exist for Tribal solar projects and the energy issues that are driving a need for solar in the various Tribal regions. Additionally, it will provide an overview of both the approach and the key successes and impacts that GRID Alternatives is using in their Tribal Program.
