Research conducted at Texas A&M represented annual expenditures of more than one billion dollars in fiscal year 2021. In its most recent submission to the National Science Foundation (NSF) for the Higher Education Research and Development (HERD) survey, Texas A&M reported $1.148 billion in research expenditures for fiscal year 2021. Texas A&M has an outstanding cadre of faculty researchers and state-of-the-art facilities to better prepare its more than 74,800 students to become tomorrow’s leaders.
