The Texas A&M Energy Institute Annual Distinguished Lecture – Dr. Yassin A. Hassan

Hassan. The topic will be “Nuclear Energy: A Sustainable Source in the Energy Mix.”

2023 Texas Energy Summit

On November 15-17, 2023, the Texas Energy Summit, hosted by the Energy Systems Laboratory (ESL), will be held at the State of Texas Capitol Building. The ESL is a division of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), a member of the Texas A&M University System.

Egypt-Texas Collaborative Workshop: Energy-Water Nexus

Universities from Egypt and Texas are coming together for a collaborative workshop on Monday, October 2, 2023, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (Central Daylight Time) / 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. (Eastern European Summer Time). The focus will be on the Energy-Water Nexus and will include discussions about technology, research, education, and future opportunities.

2023 Texas A&M Conference on Energy

September 27 - 29, 2023

On September 27-29, 2023, Texas A&M Energy Research Society (TAMU ERS), in cooperation with the Texas A&M Energy Institute, will host the 2023 Texas A&M Conference on Energy at the Texas A&M Memorial Student Center. This year’s event focuses on new and ground-breaking advancements pertaining to both the petroleum and renewable sectors of energy.

The Energy Transition: Achieving a Balance Across Customer Needs, Politics and the Laws of Physics

Jackson as a part of the 2023 Texas A&M Conference on Energy. Ms. Jackson’s presentation is titled, “The Energy Transition: Achieving a Balance Across Customer Needs, Politics and the Laws of Physics.”

Giesecke Engineering Research Building (GERB) Third Floor Conference Room and through a Zoom Meeting. The topic will be “A Novel Concept for Flash Evaporation and Phase Separation for Desalination.”

The presenter will be Dr. Sarah Barber, Head of the Wind Energy Innovation Division at the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, and the topic will be, “Interdisciplinary Research and Swiss Innovation for the Global Wind Energy Market.”
