Five Students Selected for 2017 Student Research Internship Program
The Texas A&M Energy Institute is proud to announce the five selected students for the 2017 Texas A&M Energy Institute Student Research Internship Program. Aaron Daileda, Alyssa Dubrow, Sarah Giles, Milton Guardado, and Michael Migaud will conduct hands-on energy research for two summer months under the supervision of one of the Texas A&M Energy Institute’s Faculty Affiliates.
Texas A&M to lead Modeling and Simulation for $140M RAPID Modular Process Intensification Institute
The Texas A&M Energy Institute, part of Texas A&M University and the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), will be leading the modeling and simulation efforts of the $140 million Rapid Advancement in Process Intensification Deployment (RAPID) Manufacturing Institute of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).

Pistikopoulos Elected Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)
Professor Stratos Pistikopoulos, a TEES Distinguished Research Professor in the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering and an Interim Co-Director of the Texas A&M Energy Institute, has been elected as a fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).
Han: Microalgae Domestication
Dr. Arum Han, an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, together with Dr. Timothy Devarenne, an associate professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, is working to develop an algal domestication program – a true paradigm shift in the biofuels area.
