Texas A&M Energy Institute Establishes Interdisciplinary Academic Council

The Texas A&M Energy Institute, a joint institute between Texas A&M University and the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, has recently established an Interdisciplinary Academic Council, composed of prominent faculty members from six different colleges and schools at Texas A&M University.

Elbashir and Gutiérrez Co-Host Shale and Natural Gas Workshop

Dr. Nimir Elbashir, professor of petroleum and chemical engineering and chair of petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University at Qatar and director of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station Gas and Fuels Research Center (GFRC), along with Dr. Arturo Jiménez Gutiérrez, a professor of Chemical Engineering and Researcher at Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya, Mexico in the Department of Chemical Engineering, co-hosted and co-led a Monetizing Shale and Natural Gas workshop on March 13-14, 2019 in Celaya, Mexico.

Elbashir Publishes “Natural Gas Processing from Midstream to Downstream”

Nimir Elbashir, professor of petroleum and chemical engineering and chair of petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University at Qatar and director of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station Gas and Fuels Research Center (GFRC), is co-editor of a new book, “Natural Gas Processing from Midstream to Downstream,” published by Wiley.
