The Texas A&M Energy Institute hosted representatives from Greentown Labs and the MIT Trust Center for Entrepreneurship for a Texas Entrepreneurship Exchange for Energy (TEX-E) Roadshow that welcomed students to learn about a collaboration among The University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University, University of Houston, Rice University, and Prairie View A&M University—powered by Greentown Labs and MIT’s Martin Trust Center for Entrepreneurship—to create a powerful student-driven entrepreneurship ecosystem in Texas.
Lara Cottingham, Chief of Staff at Greentown Labs, and Ben Soltoff, Ecosystem-Builder in Residence at the MIT Trust Center, visited the Energy Institute and announced the TEX-E program, which provides opportunities for a unique and unparalleled opportunity to connect with leaders in the energy innovation ecosystem, access to a pool of discretionary funding for events and travel, and special invitations to events and networking opportunities in fall 2023 and spring 2024.
Applicants must be graduate or undergraduate students at a participating TEX-E school—Prairie View A&M University, Rice University, Texas A&M University, University of Houston, the University of Texas at Austin, or the Massachusetts Institute of Technology—who are graduating no earlier than 2024.
