Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Imperial College London Sign MOU

The Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, the Georgia Institute of Technology, and Imperial College London recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Texas A&M Energy Institute’s 15th Anniversary Celebration, held in December 2024.

Together, these three universities will explore the possibilities of cooperation for joint research projects relating to “Reimagining Global Supply Chains in the Era of Increased Variable Renewable Energy.”

This collaboration was initiated through interactions between three prominent professors:

  • Professor Eleftherios Iakovou
    • Professor of Engineering Technology & Industrial Distribution, Harvey Hubbell Professor of Industrial Distribution, Texas A&M University
    • Associate Director for Resilience and Sustainability of Integrated Energy and Manufacturing Supply Chains, Texas A&M Energy Institute
  • Professor Chelsea “Chip” White
    • Schneider National Chair in Transportation and Logistics, Professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology
  • Professor Mark O Malley
    • Leverhulme Professor of Power Systems, Imperial College London
    • Fellow, Hagler Institute for Advanced Study, Texas A&M University
