The Texas A&M Energy institute is proud to announce that nine proposals have been selected for funding under its Fourth Annual Research Proposal Call. Thirty-two proposals were submitted with investigators from five colleges and nineteen departments at Texas A&M University.

Energy Students Part of Winning Team in Annual U-Challenge
Six energy students are part of a winning team that competed in the 2nd Annual U-Challenge at Texas A&M University. The team was composed of five doctoral students from the research group of Dr. M.M. Faruque Hasan and included Ishan Bajaj (team leader), Shachit Shankaran Iyer, Salih Emre Demirel, Akhil Arora and Spyridon Tsolas, plus one master’s student from the subsea engineering program, Mohammad Alvi.
Satish Bukkapatnam Named SME Fellow
Satish T.S. Bukkapatnam, a Rockwell International Professor and the Director of the TEES Institute for Manufacturing Systems has been elevated to the SME College of Fellows.
