Xie Named Outstanding Young Engineer by the IEEE Power and Energy Society
Le Xie, an Associate Professor and Eugene Webb Faculty Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University and a Texas A&M Energy Institute faculty affiliate, has been named the recipient of the 2017 IEEE PES Outstanding Young Engineer Award by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Power and Energy Society (PES).
Texas A&M Energy Institute Announces Winners of Third Annual Research Proposal Call
The Texas A&M Energy institute is proud to announce that nine proposals have been selected for funding under its Third Annual Research Proposal Call. Thirty-eight proposals were submitted with investigators from five colleges at Texas A&M University as well as one college at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
Five Students Selected for 2017 Student Research Internship Program
The Texas A&M Energy Institute is proud to announce the five selected students for the 2017 Texas A&M Energy Institute Student Research Internship Program. Aaron Daileda, Alyssa Dubrow, Sarah Giles, Milton Guardado, and Michael Migaud will conduct hands-on energy research for two summer months under the supervision of one of the Texas A&M Energy Institute’s Faculty Affiliates.
Texas A&M to lead Modeling and Simulation for $140M RAPID Modular Process Intensification Institute
The Texas A&M Energy Institute, part of Texas A&M University and the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), will be leading the modeling and simulation efforts of the $140 million Rapid Advancement in Process Intensification Deployment (RAPID) Manufacturing Institute of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).
